I got admit into John Hopkins Biotechnology so I want to share my experience of the process of admission in this post.
First thing to know is that John Hopkins is a very famous and top university in the United States of America, and you visa officer may not ask many questions about why this university of its John Hopkins.
And the Biotechnology program at John Hopkins is one of the oldest in the world it is 20 years old programme. Located in the biotech cluster of Maryland JHU has the best resources of equipment and faculty at the university.
Unlike other program's in USA MS biotech has several concentrations a student can choose from
Bio defence
Regulatory affairs
Drug design
Bioinformatics
Molecular biology
The application costs 50$ and is completely online but transcripts need to be sent to the university for international students, the requirement is 3.0 gpa i.e 80% n above for Indians
Toefl requirement is 100 in the ibt test so please check ur score before applying to this program.

Revised GRE scores out

Revised GRE was started by ETS in August 2011.
When a aspirant took the exam a score range was given at the end of the exam,the exact interpretation has been posted on the ETS website you need a gre login id to check your scores online.
The old GRE conversion table was also posted by ETS through which students can convert their older scores to new pattern scores.

GRE is compulsory for students pursuing an engineering degree. Some schools accept students without a GRE score. Few Universities waive GRE on the basis of undergraduate academic record. The graduate program in Computer Science at Purdue University is one of the very few top programs which do not require the GRE score. TOEFL iBT/IELTS is compulsory for all students wishing to pursue an education in the U.S. However, please keep in mind that it is very tough to get a visa without GRE scores. For MS in Computer Science at San Jose State University, GRE score is not required if the undergraduate degree is from USA.
